Diagnosing an SQO efficiency gap in an international lead generation programme

A lead generation programme was hitting its volume target but falling well short on pipeline conversion. Lead volume was strong. SQOs were not. The objective was to identify why the gap existed and what was driving it.

Three root causes were identified: an imbalanced campaign portfolio concentrating spend on high-volume, low-conversion programmes, a collapse in discovery call booking rates across the quarter, and the absence of nurture sequences across multiple programme types.
Individual-level sales analysis showed the performance gap sat entirely in booking rates, not in close rates once a call took place. The bottleneck was earlier in the process than initially assumed.
A significant share of leads came from accounts below the effective quality threshold, contributing minimally to pipeline while diluting overall funnel efficiency.
Recommended reallocating budget from high-volume, low-conversion campaigns towards programme types with materially stronger conversion rates, alongside reactivating missing nurture sequences and investigating the booking process breakdown.

Designing a churn-prevention onboarding sequence using behavioural science

A large share of new users were churning within 90 days, typically after a single session. The product worked. The users did not return. The brief was to design an onboarding email sequence that moved users from one use to repeated engagement.

Co-designed a 3-email sequence built around three distinct behavioural mechanisms: correcting the most common setup mistake users made (Loss Aversion), providing timing triggers to prompt a second session (Implementation Intentions), and validating continued investment through peer evidence (Social Proof combined with Goal Gradient Effect).
Each email was grounded in prior user research on adoption barriers and cost perception as the primary objection to continued use.
When a revised version removed the behavioural mechanisms in favour of a more generic tone, prepared a structured comparison mapping each gap to the original research, with recommendations to restore the churn-prevention logic without changing the overall tone.

Mid-quarter conversion gap analysis across four international markets

Two thirds into a quarter, the portfolio was tracking well below its conversion target. Leadership needed to understand where the gap was originating, which markets were responsible, and whether there was a path to closing it before quarter end.

Developed a projection methodology to normalise partial-quarter data against a prior complete quarter, enabling fair like-for-like comparison despite unequal data windows.
Identified one market as the primary driver of the decline, responsible for a disproportionate share of total portfolio deterioration. Month-on-month analysis showed the gap was widening rather than stabilising.
Structured the investigation by severity rather than analysing all markets equally, concentrating diagnostic depth where the data indicated the most material impact.

Full digital transformation of a fitness business during COVID-19 lockdown
Fitness studio client, Ireland, 2020

A fitness studio operating entirely in person had days to move online when lockdown was announced. The brief was to build the full digital infrastructure from scratch: live sessions, memberships, on-demand content, challenges, payment processing, and automated communications.

Implemented a complete online delivery system covering live streaming, membership management, on-demand content hosting, and community challenges, integrated with CRM and automation tools.
Built automated onboarding and retention sequences to manage the transition from in-person to digital relationships at scale.
The studio moved from 100% in-person to fully operational online within weeks. The client was awarded Businesswoman of the Year 2020 for Business Transformation by Ireland's Local Enterprise Office.

Two clients were at risk of not renewing due to low platform adoption. One was a non-profit in the UK struggling with onboarding complexity. The other was a large organisation in the Netherlands facing language-barrier challenges blocking adoption across teams.

For the UK non-profit: created a 39-page custom implementation playbook, delivered live multilingual training, and managed a full migration of client assets. The client renewed.
For the Dutch client: resolved adoption barriers by developing translated training materials and multilingual playbooks tailored to their internal teams. The client renewed.
Both cases were driven by the same principle: diagnosing the real obstacle to adoption and building something specific to remove it, rather than applying a standard onboarding approach.
